Job Title: People Team Operations Intern
Location: Corporate
Department: People Team
Grade: $16.00/hr
Job Summary: The People Team Operations Intern will support the People Team Operations by completing project work and administrative activities that support Wawa’s associates as it relates to human resources related inquiries. This position will provide practical work experience and a deeper understanding of a corporate human resources service center.
Principal Duties:
- Provide assistance to the Associate Service Representatives who support Wawa associates with HR related questions and tasks.
- Analyze Associate Service Center call and ticket data to identify trends and opportunities to close knowledge gaps for our associates. Report findings to leadership.
- Assist in the design and creation of Workday Help Knowledgebase Articles to be accessed by associates seeking HR related inquiries.
- Serve as a point of contact for Wawa associates seeking information on HR related inquiries via phone, email, and Workday Help.
- Opportunity to participate in department meetings and communicate with HR leaders.
- Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by the Associate Service Center Supervisor.

- Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with a focus on customer service
Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled in Human Resources or Business related degree program
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
