Job Title: Workday System Analyst

Job Summary: The Workday System Analyst is responsible to identify opportunities for system and/or process improvements and recommend effective solutions to gain efficiencies and ensure high quality work while maintaining data integrity. Recommends technology solutions for difficult and complex business problems and apply technical and functional business knowledge to the improvement, maintenance and development of Workday systems to support the Business requirements. This role is the primary contact to support the Associate Service Center, Contact Center & Store Operations on the escalation of issues with an emphasis on Recruiting, HCM and related Business processes, among other related duties.
Principal Duties:
- Responsible for day to day management of issues presented by Associate Service Center & Store Operations, responsible for the timely escalation, routing and resolution of issues in accordance with the defined issue triage and resolution process. Accountable for the resolution of all solution issues in a timely manner and in tracking the Service Level Agreements.
- Maintain and develop a strong working relationship with business owners as a process advocate. Maintain appropriate issue tracking and manage issue resolution process. Guide the development of specifications and recommendations to mitigate risk and resolve outstanding issues.
- Discover inefficiencies in business processes impacting data management. Analyze processes, propose recommendations, document changes for change control purposes, and implement required process improvements.
- Assist team in testing upgrades and configuration changes to the system. Research production problems and provide appropriate responses. Maintain complete documentation on system processes and procedures. Plan, design & execute regression testing and introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced. Responsible for reviewing Workday’s weekly release and determining potential impacts.
- Maintain, develop and support recruiting, change job and transfer functions, enhancements and updates as needed.
- Conduct internal security audits and participate in Wawa internal audit reviews. Make any necessary changes and keep documentation updated. Prepare for and participate in internal security audits and/or internal/external audits where required.
- Develop and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, incorporating key metrics such as: headcount, labor, and turnover to support strategic initiatives. Develop analytics dashboards utilizing multiple data sources to provide actionable reporting and analysis. Create and deliver ad hoc and custom reports as requested by business. Work with Business Analysis to understand report requirements and build reports to requirement specifications.
- Maintain the system set-up & configuration for Core HR and recruiting functions within the Workday system, including Organization Structure, Locations and Position Management. Create new positions as requested by Store Operations. Manage the store opening and closing/remodel processes in the Workday system, ensure all date integrity standards are being followed.
- Identify issues, determine root cause and identify data points to include in data integrity validation process. Recommend and implement solutions to ensure data validation by updating business process and create EIB loads to correct data. Implement process changes where needed.
- Sustain new programs and processes. Recommend improvements and support new programs. Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation for related systems. Provide training to system users on new processes/functionality.
- Provide Workday training to store operations and corporate staff regarding processes, procedures and updates. Develop materials, provide in person training and consult on Workday best practices by attending AM/GM meeting & Corporate Quarterly Department meetings as required.
- Provide additional support to LMS and ATS System administrator as needed by becoming proficient in the support aspects of those roles to providing backup and vacation coverage. Perform various ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of store operations experience or other experience in a customer service support role
- Experience in supporting technology or Human Resources a plus
- Strong PC skills including the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Workday HCM, Recruiting, Security & Reporting a plus
